Eight days that begin and end at Sharm el Sheikh Airport — ancient tombs, mountain camps, a Nabatean ecolodge, rock art thousands of years old, a candlelit canyon, and a proper adventure canyon with a rope descent, before winding down with free time in Dahab. Led by Joseph and Annet together, with over 30 years of Sinai guiding and nearly 20 years living in Dahab between them.
Your driver meets you outside Sharm el Sheikh Airport and takes you to Lidia Hotel in Dahab for your first night.
Camels take us to the 5,000-year-old freestanding Nawamis tombs, then on to Jabal Matamir after lunch, where we walk and explore the mountain. Night in the desert.
We visit the Hedoda dune at Gebl Makhroom, with the option to try sandboarding, then continue to Karm Ecolodge in the Saint Catherine mountains and visit the abandoned Nabatean village nearby.
Eight days that begin and end at the airport, but take you somewhere much older than either.
The Nabatean War Scene rock inscription, a nearby cave with 10,000-year-old red-pigment handprints and animal carvings, then on to Zigzag Canyon — candlelit after dark.
A real adventure canyon — climbing up through narrow rock passages, then descending part of it by rope. After lunch, we drive back to Dahab.
Two unstructured days to relax after the desert, explore Dahab, or simply take it easy before your flight home.
Transfer from the hotel to Sharm el Sheikh Airport, timed to arrive three hours before your flight.
